Cartoon Network's Adult Swim program will launch a pair of concert tours this fall, with a hip-hop version featuring Ghostface Killah [ tickets ] hitting college campuses around the nation.

The campus shows, which will also feature Witchdoctor [ tickets ] (a.k.a. Eric Johnson), will kick off Oct. 1 in Albany, NY, at the State University of New York. The concerts are free to the public and those wishing to attend can obtain a ticket through Adult Swim's tour website.

The 12-city tour will wind through the country and draw to a close Oct. 19 in Albuquerque, NM. All dates for the hip-hop version are included below.

The popular cartoon show also has a rock version of the campus tour in the works. Although dates are still unconfirmed, the outing will feature headliners ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead [ tickets ], and is expected to launch Oct. 29 from an unspecified location.

Dethklok, self-described in a press release as the "world's most popular and heaviest metal band," will open for Trail of the Dead. The band stars in the Adult Swim series "Metalocalypse," and creator/lead vocalist Brandon Small will "bring the animated characters to life with a real live band," according to the statement.

Trail of Dead's most recent studio album, "So Divided," hit stores last November.

Ghostface Killah teamed up last year with British underground rapper MF Doom for a still-unreleased album. The Wu-Tang Clan founding member's most recent studio efforts came in 2006 with the release of the critically lauded "Fishscale," along with "More Fish," which offered outtakes and extra cuts from the former album's recording sessions.
