Feist plots short fall trek
Canadian songstress Feist is piecing together a fall North American tour that currently leans heavily on the West Coast as she continues to back her latest studio set.
Feist--whose full name is Leslie Feist--will kick off the seven-city outing Nov. 6 in Portland, OR. After heading down the coast, the trek will swing toward the Midwest, with shows in Denver, Chicago and Columbus, OH. The full schedule is included below.
Pre-sale tickets for the short outing will be made available beginning tomorrow (9/18). Full information can be found at Feist's MySpace page.
The singer continues to back "The Reminder," released on May 1. The album was pieced together while the singer was on a 33-month tour behind her previous album, 2004's "Let It Die," according to her online biography.
Feist recently shut the doors on her official website, explaining to fans in a placeholder message displayed at the closed site that "I've decided to take this site offline (for a while). Why? Because of my analogue mind and the fact(s) that I couldn't recognize myself in it, it was being mismanaged, it had been attacked by porn spammers, it wasn't beautiful and it played one song at you like a bad TV commercial as soon as you innocently entered. It was a robot with a paper mask of my face on it."
Videos for Feist's "1234" and "My Moon My Man," both songs from "The Reminder," can be found at the singer's MySpace site, which also includes all the dates for her current European itinerary.
