Fuel refills tour schedule
Alt-rockers Fuel , whose summer tour marked the group's inaugural run with new singer Toryn Green, are about to hit the road again as they continue to back their latest album, "Angels and Devils."
The group has lined up about five-weeks' worth of dates that begin next weekend, many of which will find the band sharing the stage with fellow rock outfit Trapt. Details are listed below.
Released in August, "Angels and Devils" is Fuel's first album with Green. The group tapped the singer after original vocalist Brett Scallions jumped shipped early last year, reportedly under amicable circumstances.
Green's selection in June of last year followed Fuel's notable attempt to coax then-"American Idol" contestant Chris Daughtry to take over for Scallions. Daughtry declined, and went on to find commercial success with his eponymous band and its self-titled debut album.
Fuel guitarist/chief songwriter Carl Bell and bassist Jeff Abercrombie--the group's remaining original members--spent more than two years writing "Angels and Devils," according to a press release. The album is the band's first full-length studio effort since 2003's "Natural Selection."
"Angels and Devils" features the leadoff single "Wasted Time," the
video for which debuted last week. The set also includes the track "Again," which Fox-TV is using in promo spots for its hit series "Prison Break."
