Radiohead Extends Tour To U.K. And Denmark
LONDON--update: Radiohead has added 10 U.K. and two Danish dates to its upcoming European tour which kicks off in Arles, France, on June 13.
In addition to the shows in Copenhagen, Denmark, the band will play in the U.K. in London, Warrington, Cheshire, Glasgow and Newport. Singer Thom Yorke has also confirmed that they
will bring out new material during the tour.
In a recent interview with Belgian magazine Humo, bass player Colin Greenwood said that Radiohead recorded with a small orchestra and a jazz band on a couple of the new songs; on another, Yorke "sings backwards." The band's fourth album is expected for release later this year.
The group's last full-length album "O.K. Computer" was released in America in July '97, peaking at No. 21 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart.
