So Cal psychobilly trio Tiger Army [ tickets ] recently wrapped a fall tour of the US, but the band will be back at it early next year, hitting cities it missed the first time around.

So far, the itinerary comprises 13 cities across the country, starting Jan. 15 in Fresno, CA. Punk-rockers Revolution Mother and alt-rock band the Dear & Departed will support the trek, dates for which are listed below. More shows are expected, according to Tiger Army's website, which also details a weeklong European jaunt in April.

The band has been on the road all year supporting its June release, "Music From Regions Beyond." Tiger Army completed its first-ever headlining tour of Europe in the spring before moving to a mainstage slot on the Warped Tour. The rockers then launched a fall headlining trek of the US--their first since 2005. That outing recently wrapped with two sold-out shows at Los Angeles' historic Wiltern Theatre.

"Music From Regions Beyond," Tiger Army's fourth set, was co-produced by Jerry Finn (AFI, Morrissey), marking the first time that singer/guitarist/songwriter Nick 13 brought in outside help. The record follows "III: Ghost Tigers Rise," which surfaced in 2004. Songs from both albums are streaming at Tiger Army's MySpace page.

During the three years between albums, the trio has built an international following, touring with the likes of Social Distortion, Morrissey and AFI, and selling out its own shows, according to its bio.

Tiger Army formed in 1996 and quickly caught the attention of Rancid's Tim Armstrong, who signed the group to his Hellcat Records despite knowing that Nick 13 had yet to secure a steady lineup. The band has since survived several lineup changes and is currently rounded out by stand-up bassist Jeff Roffredo and drummer James Meza.
