Bon Jovi further expands US trek
After a short break, Bon Jovi 's massive world tour picks up again this week and a few more North American dates have been added to the fold.
Since last check, the band has slotted in a fourth gig in Toronto (two shows this month and two in March), while second nights were tacked on in San Jose, CA, and Kansas City, MO. A new stop was also added in Fargo, ND.
Bon Jovi will resume the outing tomorrow night (12/6) in Toronto and stay in Canada through mid-month. The veteran rockers will then visit Japan, Australia and New Zealand in January before kicking off their coast-to-coast US run in mid-February. When the American trek wraps in late April, the band will head to Europe for five weeks. North American dates are detailed below, while those overseas can be found at Bon Jovi's website.
Canadian rock quartet Hedley is holding down the support slot in Canada and rockers Daughtry will take over in the US.
Bon Jovi has been on the road since mid-November supporting its June release, "Lost Highway," which is the band's first No. 1 record since the late '80s. The Nashville-inspired set is the group's ninth album of original material, and follows 2005's platinum-selling "Have a Nice Day."
Last month, Bon Jovi also offered up the DVD "Lost Highway: The Concert," which was filmed at a summertime show in Chicago. The DVD includes an additional 30 minutes of concert footage and exclusive backstage interviews that were not seen during the film's recent movie-theater and small-screen premieres.
