Josh Groban holds steady at No. 1 on album chart
Josh Groban 's "Noel" spends its second straight week atop the US album chart, with 539,000 copies sold during its most recent week in stores.
That was plenty to outdistance the Eagles' "Long Road Out of Eden," which moved 313,000 and jumps from No. 5 to No. 2 on The Billboard 200 chart. The band got some increased visibility last week thanks to an appearance on CBS-TV's "60 Minutes."
Alicia Keys ' "As I Am" drops one notch to No. 3 on sales of 257,000, according to Billboard, which bases its chart on Nielsen SoundScan retail reports.
The "Now 26" hits compilation moves down one slot to No. 4 on sales of 127,000, while Garth Brooks' "The Ultimate Hits" slips one spot to No. 5 on sales of 112,000.
Rounding out the Top 10 are the "High School Musial 2" soundtrack, Miley Cyrus ' "Hannah Montana 2 (Soundtrack)/Meet Miley Cyrus," Celine Dion's "Taking Chances," Carrie Underwood's "Carnival Ride" and Mannheim Steamroller's "Christmas Song."
