Heavy metal supergroup Hellyeah [ tickets ] continues to rock newly won fans all over the country, adding fresh dates behind the band's self-titled debut album.

The group--Mudvayne's Chad Gray (vocals) and Greg Tribbett (guitar), Nothingface's Tom Maxwell (guitar), Pantera/Damageplan drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott and Damageplan's Bob Zilla--kicks off an early 2008 headlining run Jan. 25 in Clifton Park, NY, the first of 13 cities the group will hit over the first months of the year. Dates are included below.

The band is touring behind its self-titled debut album, released in April on Epic Records. "Thank You," the third single from the set, recently hit radio stations. The song is a tribute to Abbott's brother, former Pantera/Damageplan guitarist Dimebag Darrell, who was shot and killed onstage in 2004 while performing with the latter group.

"It's a very emotional track for anyone who's been through a crazy loss," Gray said in a press release. "Dime was brutally murdered. I watched my grandmother, who was this thriving, full-of-life soul, get whittled down to nothing because of cancer. I just felt we owed a big thank you to all of them."

"It was very powerful," added Abbott of his first hearing of the completed song. "It made me think of how much my brother had done for me, and how much we had done together, and how much I miss him and how important it is for me and everyone to know we love him and appreciate him."

The seed for the band and eventual album was planted in 2000, when Maxwell and Gray met while both of their bands were on the Tattoo the Earth tour.

"I think it's been pretty great," Abbott said in an August interview with LiveDaily. "It's more than any of us could have really expected. I remember the first night we played in Baltimore on May 20 [2007]. None of us really knew what to expect. Right before we went on stage, the whole place started chanting 'Hellyeah.' From that point on, we knew things were going to be all right, man. It was a special day, man."
