MySpace Music Tour goes electronic with Justice
The techno-funk rockers will be joined on select dates by support acts including Philadelphia DJ/producer Diplo , electro hip-hop artist DJ Mehdi , Montreal-based electrofunk duo Chromeo , French pop-rockers Fancy, and electronic guru and Ed Banger Records founder Busy P.
The outing is set to launch March 3 in Austin, TX, and visit US cities from coast to coast as well as a few Canadian provinces through the end of the month. Details are listed below.
Tickets go on sale beginning today (1/9) at the tour's MySpace page and local outlets.
Justice, which will tour Japan and Europe ahead of the MySpace trek, is riding high on the success of its summer full-length debut. The album, the title of which is a cross icon, has garnered critical acclaim and earned the group three Grammy nominations: Best Electronic/Dance Album, as well as Best Dance Recording and Best Short Form Music Video for the single "D.A.N.C.E."
The upcoming tour is the second in a series of MySpace-produced and -branded concert events slated for each spring and fall. The inaugural MySpace Music Tour launched last fall with co-headliners Say Anything and Hellogoodbye.
