Tegan and Sara plot new 'Con' dates for spring
The Canadian twins--who both sing and play multiple instruments--kick things off April 17 in Salem, OR. The 15-date US outing follows the pair's upcoming European trek, which gets underway in February.
The duo's complete international schedule can be found at Tegan and Sara's official website.
The twins' fifth studio album, "The Con" was co-produced by the sisters and Chris Walla, and features special guests including Jason McGerr of Death Cab for Cutie, Matt Sharp of The Rentals and Hunter Burgan of AFI, according to the band's bio. A couple of songs from the record are steaming at Tegan and Sara's MySpace page.
The new album--which briefly found a home in the Top 50 of The Billboard 200 album chart following its release last July--follows 2004's "So Jealous," which landed on Rolling Stone's Top 50 Records of the Year list.
