Baby Bash, Pitbull join forces for spring outing
Hip-hop artists Baby Bash and Pitbull will team up this spring for a co-headlining tour that finds both performers supporting recent studio releases.
The Crunk-associated rappers kick things off March 15 in Orlando, FL, and will hit 13 cities during an outing that runs through early April. Dates are below.
"It's been long overdue for me and Pit to hit the road together; finally our fans can see us both together for one ticket. You can't beat that with a whoopin' stick," Baby Bash said in a statement announcing the dates.
"I can't wait to get out on the road with Baby Bash. I want to use this opportunity to connect with my all my fans and million plus MySpace friends," Pitbull added, referring to the huge followings both men have built online, especially among Latino fans.
The Miami-based Pitbull released his fourth studio album, "The Boatlift," last November. The set featured production from fellow Southern rapper Lil Jon, among others, and peaked at No. 50 on the Billboard 200 album chart. The disc follows 2006's "El Mariel."
California-born Baby Bash dropped "Cyclone," his fourth album under his current performing name (born Ronnie Ray Bryant, the rapper used to go by the name Baby Beesh) last October. The set, which follows 2005's "Super Saucy," debuted at No. 30 on The Billboard 200 chart. Baby Bash worked with a large collection of production talent to complete the album, including Lil Jon, Play-N-Skilz, J. R. Rotem and Happy Perez.
