Limp Bizkit Delays Start Of Free Tour, West Coast Dates In Limbo

The Napster-sponsored "Back To Basics" tour--a series of free-admission shows featuring Limp Bizkit and Cypress Hill --is now scheduled to open on July 11 in Detroit, according to Interscope Records. The tour was to start over the July 4 weekend in Chicago.

Limp Bizkit's camp is also backing away from previous confirmations of tour stops in Dallas, Denver, Seattle, San Jose and Los Angeles, calling those dates tentative.

Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst has said that tickets to the free shows will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, but the specifics of how they will be doled out have not been announced.
