Creed, 3 Doors Down Set August Dates
Creed , which has been touring heavily since the September 1999 release of its quadruple-platinum album “Human Clay,” has lined up another series of concerts beginning in August. The band will take a break from the road for much of July.
3 Doors Down and American Pearl will support on all of Creed's August dates. American Pearl, Creed's labelmate at Wind-Up Records, is also scheduled to open Creed’s Sept. 1 performance.
With the exceptions of two sold-out Detroit-area shows, an appearance at New York's Madison Square Garden and a Philadelphia-area date, tickets for all shows are on sale now.
Creed ’s only confirmed July appearance is at Edgefest at Molson Park in Barrie, Ontario on July 1. Other acts Edgefest bill include the Tea Party and Filter.
“Human Clay” has been one of the more successful rock releases of the past year. The album has been on the Billboard 200 album chart for 38 weeks, and will chart at No. 6 next week.
