It's 'Euphoria or Bust' for The Black Crowes

Fresh off an international trek, The Black Crowes are back in the US preparing to launch an extensive North American tour that stretches through the end of the year.

The blues-rockers will get the ball rolling with about a dozen dates across the country before kicking off tour June 27 in Hershey, PA. The launch date and a few other gigs on the itinerary team the Crowes with the Dave Matthews Band . Another highlight of the outing will be the Nov. 3-4 shows at New York City's Town Hall, where The Black Crowes will perform all-acoustic sets.

The six-month trek is scheduled to visit clubs, theaters, casinos, amphitheaters and festivals across the US and Canada through December, when it will culminate with a five-night stand at San Francisco's Fillmore. Confirmed shows are listed below and the itinerary is expected to grow to 90 cities, according to The Black Crowes ' website.

Tickets for the first leg of dates go on sale beginning May 2, and special "midnight pre-sales" will be offered at the Crowes' website one week before public access. Fans who take advantage of the midnight pre-sale will also receive free downloads of previously unreleased live material, according to a press release.

On the road, The Black Crowes will play tunes from their extensive catalog, some surprise covers and material from their first new studio album in seven years, "Warpaint," which surfaced last month and debuted at No. 5 on The Billboard 200.

The Crowes are currently making waves on Billboard's Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart with the single "Goodbye Daughters of the Revolution," which is streaming at their MySpace page.

The group--made up of brothers Chris Robinson (vocals) and Rich Robinson (guitars), along with Steve Gorman (drums), Sven Pipien (bass) and new members Adam MacDougall (keyboards) and Luther Dickinson (guitar)--took a four-year hiatus following its previous studio set, 2001's "Lions." The rockers returned to the live stage in 2005 with seven sold-out shows at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom.

The Black Crowes exploded on the music scene in 1990 with their multi-platinum debut, "Shake Your Money Maker," and they've gone on to sell 20 million albums worldwide, according to their bio.
