Beginning July 15, MCY.com will webcast 'N Sync concert footage. One can view a 30-minute clip or a full-length concert. The site will run the footage through the end of the year. MCY is the sponsor of 'N Sync's current US tour.
Liverpool, England, will be home to the Hard Day's Night Hotel, nme.com reported. Inspired by the Beatles, the hotel will be constructed next to the Cavern Club, where the Liverpool band performed early in its career.
Wendy's, the chain of hamburger restaurants, is inviting amateur musicians to write and record songs that celebrate the hamburger. Prizes in Wendy's Search for Sizzlin' Sounds Contest include appearances on "The Late, Late Show with Craig Kilborn" and a recording session.
Radiohead announced that its new album, entitled "Kid A," will be released on October 2.
The music of rock group Queen has been transformed into a ballet production. "Ballet for Life" makes its British debut in London on September 28. Songs include "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Radio Ga Ga" and "I Want to Break Free."
The MTV-constructed pop group 2gether will open for Britney Spears on some of her summer tour dates, Variety reported. This pairing seems odd to some, as MTV created 2gether in order to make fun of the hitmaking machine which arguably produced Spears' success.
The Tattoo the Earth tour has added the hardcore band AMEN to its roster. The band's forthcoming album is titled "We Have Come for Your Parents."
