Neil Diamond
"Home Before Dark"
(Sony)
The legendary performer, who has sold 125 million records worldwide and scored 36 Top 40 hits, returns with a follow-up to 2005's "12 Songs." "Home Before Dark" marks Diamond's second collaboration with renowned producer Rick Rubin (Johnny Cash, Mick Jagger).
Album highlights include a duet with the Dixie Chicks' Natalie Maines on "Another Day (That Time Forgot)" and the lead single, "Pretty Amazing Grace," which is streaming at Diamond's website. In addition to the standard version, the album will be offered as a deluxe edition including two bonus tracks and a DVD with rare footage of Diamond in the studio, according to a press release.
Diamond will support the new album with a North American tour that launches July 19 in St. Paul, MN. The nearly 40-show run will includes two-night stands at New York City's Madison Square Garden and California's Hollywood Bowl, as well as an Aug. 23 engagement at Boston's historic Fenway Park.
Clay Aiken
"On My Way Here"
(RCA)
The "American Idol" star, who finished second to Ruben Studdard during the reality show's second season, releases his first album of original material since 2003's "Measure of a Man."
Aiken's last two efforts were a holiday offering (2004's "Merry Christmas with Love") and an all-covers record (2006's "A Thousand Different Ways," which featured the singer's renditions of Top 40 ballads). Most recently, Aiken has been performing nightly on Broadway in Monty Python's "Spamalot."
Tim McGraw
"Tim McGraw Collector's Edition"
(Curb)
The cowboy crooner will treat fans with a limited-edition combo pack of his two best-of albums: 2000's "Greatest Hits" and 2006's "Tim McGraw Reflected: Hits Vol. 2."
McGraw will surely play many of the hits featured on "Collector's Edition," as well as tunes from 2007's "Let It Go," during his North American tour, which is next scheduled to stop on May 9 in Tampa, FL.
In other news, McGraw just became the first country artist to land the No. 1 slot on Billboard's classic rock chart with "Nine Lives," a song he co-wrote and performs with Def Leppard on the rockers' new album, "Songs from the Sparkle Lounge," according to a press release. The tune was chosen for the opening segment of NBA games this season.
Toby Keith
"35 Biggest Hits"
(Show Dog Nashville)
This 2-disc set spans the country star's entire career, starting with his first No. 1 hit, 1993's "Should've Been a Cowboy," and running through the 2006 chart-topper "A Little Too Late." It also includes the new tune "She's a Hottie," which is already a hit on country radio.
The summer leg of Keith's "Big Dog Daddy Tour" kicks off June 19 in Birmingham, AL, and is scheduled to visit amphitheaters and fairs across the US and into Canada through mid-September.
Elvis Costello and the Imposters

(Lost Highway)
