Fuel Album Nears Completion As Tour Dates Surface
Fuel , whose 1998 major label debut “Sunburn” recently eclipsed the million mark in sales, is putting the final touches on a follow-up album due for release this fall. The hard-edged alt-rock band has also lined up several club appearances in the Northeastern U.S. for August.
A specific release date hasn’t been set for the new album, which was produced by Ben Grosse (Filter, Vertical Horizon, Republica). Fuel began work on the album in March. Videos and photographs from the recording process have been posted on the band’s official website.
Fuel’s August schedule includes a spot on the bill of the Rolling Rock Town Fair, which will be televised as a pay-per-view event.
The band’s debut peaked at No. 77 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
