Toby Keith expands 'Biggest' tour

A few weeks into his extensive "Biggest & Baddest Tour," Toby Keith has added more shows and released a new single.

The country star continues the trek Friday (7/18) in Ridgefield, WA, and has more than 30 US dates booked through mid-September. Since last check, gigs have been added in Las Vegas; Spokane, WA; Hartford, CT; Clarkston, MI; Englewood, CO; West Valley City, UT; and the Texas cities of Dallas, Woodlands and Selma. An updated itinerary is listed below.

Country duo Montgomery Gentry is supporting the tour, along with newcomers Carter's Chord, Mica Roberts and Trailer Choir.

Keith is currently backing two albums--last summer's "Big Dog Daddy" and May's "Toby Keith's 35 Biggest Hits"--and he's got another one due this fall, according to CMT News. His new single, "She Never Cried in Front of Me," entered the country charts this week and is currently available for digital download.

The performer also remains on the charts with his latest hit single, "She's a Hottie," which is the only new track on his best-of album. The tune has been on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart for 18 weeks and continues to hold a spot in the Top 40.

A few more Keith tunes appear on the soundtrack to his upcoming film, "Beer For My Horses," which is scheduled to hit theaters Aug. 8. Keith co-wrote the screenplay with country comedian Rodney Carrington, and the two star in the flick alongside Ted Nugent and Willie Nelson.

Keith, who has sold nearly 35 million albums over the course of his career, was recently ranked by Forbes as country music's No. 1 earner, with an estimated $48 million raked in over the last year.

Between recording, touring, making movies, playing for US troops and running a record label and a restaurant chain, the superstar also finds time to give back; Keith's fifth annual celebrity golf tournament last month raised more than $700,000 for Ally's House, an Oklahoma non-profit that benefits children with cancer and their families.
