Hatebreed lines up outing behind 'Dominance' DVD

Metalcore outfit Hatebreed has lined up a run of fall headlining dates as they juggle several new releases, including the band's first-ever concert DVD.

The Connecticut-bred hardcore quartet will kick off the outing Sept. 2 in Detroit, mapping a 13-city slate behind the forthcoming live video, which drops on the day of the Detroit show. The group also shows a pair of European dates in early August; those shows can be found on the band's MySpace page, while US dates are included below.

Directed by Kevin Custer, "Live Dominance" documents a March show in Detroit, and also features a collection of recent live shows from various tour stops in Germany, Philadelphia, New York City and New Haven, CT.

"Our fans have been asking for a proper Hatebreed live DVD for a long time so it feels great to finally be ready to unleash this on the world," frontman Jamey Jasta said in a press release. "This is a top-notch DVD that we are all very proud of and it really shows how far we've come as a band and how truly diehard and dedicated our supporters are worldwide.”

The group also plans to release a live CD, "Live in Dallas," early next year, with an all-covers album--featuring Hatebreed versions of songs by The Misfits, Metallica, Agnostic Front and others--expected sometime next year.

Hatebreed's most recent album, 2006's "Supremacy," peaked at No. 31 on The Billboard 200 chart.
