All That Remains, Trivium co-headline US tour

Metalcore rockers All That Remains and Trivium have mapped out a six-week, co-headlining jaunt that will visit clubs and theaters across the US.

The outing, which also includes support acts 36 Crazyfists and The Human Abstract, is set to launch Sept. 9 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and make its way from the East Coast to the West Coast and back through mid-October. The bands will also cross into Canada for an Oct. 12 gig in London, Ontario. Details are listed below.

All That Remains, which is currently on the Vans Warped Tour, is supporting its fourth studio album, "Overcome," which is due Sept. 16. ATR frontman Phil Labonte said the new set offers up a more biting tone than 2006's "The Fall of Ideals."

"It's a much darker record than 'The Fall of Ideals' and it's gonna reshape what people think when they think of All That Remains," Labonte said in a statement.

A couple of tracks from the forthcoming album are streaming at ATR's MySpace page.

Trivium is also rolling out its new album, "Shogun," in September. On Thursday (7/31), fans will be able to download the first single, "Kirisute Gomen," for a 24-hour period at the Roadrunner Records website. The next single, "Into the Mouth of Hell - We March," will be released Aug. 21 as part of the new Madden NFL 2009 video game, and the track "Down From the Sky" will surface Sept. 1 as a digital single and video. The full album is scheduled to hit stores Sept. 30.

Trivium will announce another North American tour to support "Shogun" within the next month, according to a blog posting at its MySpace page. The band is heading to Japan and Australia next month, and will follow its stateside trek with Europe's Unholy Alliance Tour.
