Electronic DJ act The Crystal Method [ tickets ] will preview material from their fourth studio album--due early next year--during the pair's upcoming late-year club tour.

The duo of Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland--who host a weekly radio show on Los Angeles radio station Indie 103.1--will kick off the trek Oct. 9 in Newport Beach, CA. The 29-city tour is heavy on dates in small clubs and lounges, but also features a few shows in larger venues, including an Oct. 25 appearance at New York's Webster Hall and a Halloween date at Seattle's WAMU Theater.

The outing runs into late December. Details are included below.

No further details are available regarding the outfit's still-untitled fourth studio album, except that the duo will be premiering recordings from it during the tour. The pair's most recent full-length release came out of a partnership with Nike. "Drive: Nike + Original Run" featured 10 tracks, some of them remixes and some originals. The album was originally sold only through iTunes, but has since been released in a physical version.

The pair's previous remix album, 2005's "Community Service II," featured remixed versions of songs first recorded by The Doors ("Roadhouse Blues"), New Order ("Bizarre Love Triangle"), Smashing Pumpkins ("1979") and others, as well as revamped takes of previously released Crystal Method originals and new cuts from break-beat producers including UNKLE, Evil Nine and Uberzone.
