The Afghan Whigs have set a February itinerary, focusing on the Northeast, which includes stops at Cincinnati's Bogart's and New York's Bowery Ballroom which will make up dates postponed in December when frontman Greg Dulli was injured during a post-show fight in Austin, TX.
The two-week tour precedes the band's European tour, and supports their latest Columbia Records release, 1965. The band's December US tour was cut short after Dulli suffered a skull fracture in a reported altercation with a stagehand after the band's December 11th performance at Austin's Liberty Lunch club. Local newspaper reports indicated that Dulli was injured when he fell during a fight with a stagehand and hit his head on a concrete surface.

Statements posted by the band to their official web site cite inaccuracies in published reports, but offer no other perspective due to pending litigation. The band has filed a lawsuit against the club, its management and the stagehand.
A police investigation of the incident was turned over to a grand jury last week to determine whether criminal charges would be pursued by the district attorney's office.
