The Corrs, Five And Queen Duet "Rock" U.K. Charts

LONDON--Irish folk-pop foursome the Corrs entered the Official U.K. Album Chart at No. 1 on Sunday (7/23), with their third studio album "In Blue," knocking Coldplay’s debut album "Parachutes" down to No. 3. Eminem ’s platinum "The Marshall Mathers LP" stayed put for another week at No. 2. David Gray’s "White Ladder" fell from No. 3 to No. 4 while Moby’s triple-platinum "Play" dropped from No. 4 to No. 5.

The second-highest new entry this week was Alice Deejay’s "Who Needs Guitars Anyway" at No. 8, while Britney Spears’ "Oops! I Did It Again" rose from No. 16 to No. 13. Tom Jones’ "Reload" finally fell out of the Top 10, after 43 weeks on the chart, dropping two places from No. 9 to No. 11.

Boy band Five and Queen entered the Official U.K. Singles Chart at No. 1 this week with a new version of Queen’s "We Will Rock You" as Boyzone frontman Ronan Keating’s solo single "Life Is a Rollercoaster" dropped one place to No. 2. Former Eternal singer Louise also entered the chart this week at No. 3 with her first new material since ‘98, "2 Faced."

Other Top 10 entries included Destiny Child’s "Jumpin Jumpin" at No. 5 and Savage Garden’s "Affirmation" at No. 8. Eminem’s "The Real Slim Shady" fell from No. 3 to No. 4, "Breathless" by the Corrs dropped from No. 2 to No. 6 and Limp Bizkit’s "Take A Look Around (Theme from MI 2)" went from No. 4 to No. 7.

Other new entries included Placebo’s "Taste in Men" at No. 16, Cleopatra’s "Come and Get Me" at No. 29 and David Bowie at No. 32 with "Seven."

Meanwhile, Oasis’ "Sunday Morning Call" fell from No. 11 to No. 18, N Sync’s "I’ll Never Stop" fell from No. 13 to No. 24 and the Vengaboys’ "Uncle John from Jamaica" fell from No. 16 to No. 25.
