Elton John, Billy Joel reveal more shows

Initial dates continue to trickle in for Elton John and Billy Joel 's upcoming "Face 2 Face" tour, which kicks off next spring and is expected to cover ground worldwide over a two-year period.

So far, 10 arena shows have been announced stretching from Florida to California. Since last check, gigs have been added in Tulsa, OK; Phoenix; and the Texas cities of Houston and San Antonio. An updated itinerary is included below.

John and Joel will open the concerts with a series of duets, playing twin pianos and trading vocals, and then each superstar will perform a set with his own band, according to a press release. The piano men will join together once more for the grand finale. The shows are expected to include some of their greatest hits alongside a selection of rock-and-roll classics.

John and Joel first toured together in 1994, and their most recent "Face 2 Face" outing was a sold-out, 24-date trek in 2003. The Grammy winners are the most successful and longest-running concert pairing in pop history, according to a press release.

John is keeping a busy schedule up to the start of the "Face 2 Face" trek, currently touring his "Red Piano" extravaganza in Europe and returning to his Las Vegas residency in February. His full schedule can be found at his website.

Joel is just finishing a run of Australian dates and will start the New Year with a five-night stand at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL. His full itinerary is listed at his website.
