Toby Keith stretches 'Biggest' trek
Toby Keith has added a few more shows to the next leg of his "Biggest & Baddest Tour."
The winter trek is now set to launch Jan 10 in Biloxi, MS, and visit a half-dozen cities in the eastern US through the end of the month. Since last check, dates have also been added in Uncasville, CT, and La Crosse, WI, and Jason Aldean has been tapped to open the first five shows.
Keith has also signed on to play WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, MN, next August. His updated schedule is included below.
The country star has been out showcasing material from his 14th studio effort, "That Don't Make Me A Bad Guy," which surfaced in October and became Keith's seventh album to shoot to No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. The set has spawned the chart-topping hit "She Never Cried in Front of Me," and the followup single, "God Love Her," is currently making its way up the country and Hot 100 charts.
The new record follows last year's "Big Dog Daddy," which includes the fastest-rising single of Keith's career, "High Maintenance Woman," as well as the hits "Love Me If You Can" and "Get My Drink On." In May, the entertainer topped the country charts once again with "Toby Keith's 35 Biggest Hits."
The singer/songwriter/entrepreneur is capping off a busy year filled with tour dates and his second major feature film, "Beer For My Horses," which has been running on the CMT network this month.
As usual, Keith has also spent his fair share of the year giving back. He mounted his seventh USO tour last spring and recently donated $500,000 to help build a pediatric oncology unit at a children's hospital in his native Oklahoma, according to a press release.
