Indie-rockers Dear and the Headlights [ tickets ] have mapped a headlining club tour starting next month behind the band's latest album, "Drunk Like Bible Times."

The group, which toured last year in support of both Motion City Soundtrack and Steel Train, kicks off the outing Feb. 24 in Los Angeles and runs well into the following month, concluding with the band's showcase at Austin, TX's South by Southwest festival. Fellow Arizona natives Miniature Tigers will support on all dates, with Rubens Accomplice also along for select shows. The itinerary is included below.

"Drunk Like Bible Times," Dear and the Headlights' sophomore effort, hit stores in September. The set was produced by Arizona producer/musician Bob Hoag, a former member of pop-punkers The Ataris. The band continued with the collaborative songwriting process it used to produce its debut album, 2007's "Small Steps, Heavy Hooves."

"'Talk About,' lyrically, is a song I wrote with my good friend Derek Sperry over the course of about 40 to 50 hours," frontman Ian Metzger told spin.com last summer. "The song is a detailed account of the disagreement between two very intertwined and opposing existences. It deals heavily with the isolation, bitterness, and occasional violence felt in something as simple as an argument or difference in opinion."

"The songwriting process is very collaborative," added guitarist/keyboardist PJ Waxman in the band's bio. "Anyone who has an idea--if everyone likes it--we put it in a song. We're all very open to criticizing each other and don't lift our chins on any idea. We luckily don't really have any problem of egos, so things work out really well."
