Rising pop-rock outfit Thriving Ivory [ tickets ] is getting ready to headline a 25-city US tour to fuel the buzz behind its self-titled debut.

The San Francisco-based quintet plans to hit the road Jan. 23, starting with gigs in the California cities of Bakersfield and West Hollywood. Thriving Ivory will focus on the eastern US in February and wind its back to the West by late March. Details are listed below.

The band has been criss-crossing the country over the past eight months, supporting its Wind-Up Records debut and building its fanbase.

"It's exciting to return to cities that we've previously been to and experience this groundswell that has been building over the past year," singer Clayton Stroope said in a statement. "There is nothing like the feeling of standing on stage as a packed room sings along with you."

He added that Thriving Ivory has made that longed-for connection with fans.

"This has been so special, and we can't wait to get back out there and experience this feeling nightly," Stroope said.

The group's self-titled set, which surfaced in June, is getting more and more attention with help from the lead single, "Angles on the Moon." The album is rising on The Billboard 200 and just scored the top spot on the magazine's Heatseekers chart. Several songs from the record are streaming at Thriving Ivory's MySpace page.
