Sister2sister will open its first full-length American tour on July 24. The Australian pop duo will tour with the Nickelodeon All That Music & More Tour, and with the Britney Spears tour, among other tours.
Smashing Pumpkins will release their next single "Try, Try, Try" in the U.K. on Sept. 11. It also features the extra track "Here's to the Atom Bomb."
Former Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft will release his third solo single "C'Mon People (We're Making It Now)" in the U.K. on Aug. 28.
NBC's "Today" show is releasing a compilation album of artists who have performed on the show. Artists include Phil Collins, Sheryl Crow, Doobie Brothers, and Earth Wind & Fire. Some of the proceeds will be donated to colorectal cancer research.
On Sept. 5, Rhino Records will release "Martha Stewart Living's Spooky Scary Sounds for Halloween," the first in a series of "music and sound compilation albums for entertaining."
Alternative British rockers Primal Scream will warm up for its Reading & Leeds Festival peformances with an Aug. 24 gig in London.
