Jimmy Buffett celebrates summer all year

It may be cold outside, but Parrotheads are no doubt making their summer plans now that Jimmy Buffett has revealed the full itinerary for his "2009 Summerzcool Tour."

As previously reported, the outing will get an early start with two shows on the Hawaiian Islands later this month. Buffett and his Coral Reefer Band will then perform more than 30 shows across the US from mid-April through late November, with two-night stands booked in Camden, NJ; Mansfield, MA; Bridgeview, IL; and Bristow, VA, and three Las Vegas gigs spread across the months of May and October. The tour, which also includes a stop in Toronto, is currently set to wrap with a Nov. 24 show at New York City's Madison Square Garden. Details are listed below.

Buffett's most recent road trip was last year's "Year of Still Here Tour," which ran from April to October.

The iconic singer/songwriter continues to support his latest studio effort, 2006's country-leaning "Take the Weather With You," which became his second consecutive No. 1 debut on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. He followed that with a couple of live sets: the three-disc dual CD/DVD "Live in Anguilla" and "Live at Texas Stadium."

Last summer, Buffett also put out the "Scenes You Know by Heart" DVD, which captures live performances of songs from his 1985 multi-platinum set, "Songs You Know by Heart." The DVD includes two bonus cuts: "Hey Good Lookin" and the Grammy-nominated hit "It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere."

Later this year, Buffett plans to release a live acoustic CD comprising songs he traditionally performs in the final encore of each show, according to various reports.
