Album Chart: Springsteen steps into The Fray
After spending its debut week atop the US album chart, "Working on a Dream," the latest set from Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, has been knocked off the summit by The Fray , whose self-titled sophomore release is this week's top-seller.
With sales of 179,000 copies, "The Fray" lays claim to the No. 1 slot on The Billboard 200 chart, outselling "Working on a Dream" by nearly 30,000 copies. That total pushes Springsteen and company down one rung to No. 2. (Billboard bases its flagship chart on Nielsen SoundScan retail data.)
Meanwhile, Dierks Bentley scores a No. 3 debut with "Feel That Fire," which sold 71,000 copies, enough to stay ahead of Taylor Swift 's "Fearless," which dips one slot to No. 4 on sales of 64,000 copies. Following at No. 5 is Beyonce 's "I Am ... Sasha Fierce," which drops two spots after selling 51,000 copies during its latest week in stores.
Rounding out the Top 10 are Nickelback 's "Dark Horse" at No. 6 with 47,000 copies; the "Kidz Bop 15" compilation at No. 7 with 38,000 copies; Jamie Foxx 's "Intuition" at No. 8 with 37,000 copies; Kanye West 's "808s & Heartbreak" at No. 9 with 33,000 copies; and Keyshia Cole 's "A Different Me" at No. 10 with just a few hundred copies less than West.
