Rapper T.I. [ tickets ] has lined up what could be his last live dates for quite some time as he continues to work on the follow-up to last year's blockbuster "Paper Trail."

The performer--who is due to enter prison next month to begin serving a one-year sentence for felony weapons possession--will fit in a few shows before he goes into government care, kicking off Thursday night (2/19) in St. Louis, MO. The 13-date outing concludes March 15 in Texas; dates are below.

T.I. released "Paper Trail," his latest studio album, late last summer. The set moved more than 500,000 copies in its first week on store shelves, the rapper's best single-week sales performance ever. To date, the album has sold close to two million copies. The set was nominated as Best Rap Album at the 2009 Grammy Awards, eventually losing out to Lil Wayne for "Tha Carter III."

Early last year, T.I. was sentenced to a year in prison on federal weapons charges. After completing 1,000 hours of community services as part of the terms of his sentencing, the rapper will enter prison next month to begin serving out the term.

"Presumably, while I'm there, I'll be able to strategize my comeback," T.I. told MTV News in December. "All those days will be spent speaking to people who are interested in being in the T.I. business. Preparing myself for the days those doors open, when I put my feet back on the ground of the free world. It's just months of planning. It's just a long time to roll the project out. I ain't gonna just be sitting still doing nothing. The wheels will be turning, just the car ain't going nowhere."

In the meantime, the performer has been hard at work at a still-untitled follow-up to "Paper Trail," which he hopes to release later this year.

"I'm getting in when I can. Doing as much as I can," he said. "I don't have deadlines to meet. I don't have tight parameters to meet."
