Weekend Ticketing: Taylor Swift, Chris Cornell, Leonard Cohen, Rise Against, Celtic Thunder

Taylor Swift is getting ready for her first headlining tour, which will span 52 cities over seven months. The 19-year-old singer/songwriter kicks off the bulk of the run in late April, and stops are planned through mid-October. Joining Swift on the trek are "American Idol" finalist Kellie Pickler and newcomer Gloriana.

Tickets go on sale Friday (2/27) for shows in St. Louis, Seattle and North Charleston, SC; and Saturday (2/28) for stops in Las Vegas and Glendale, AZ.

Rocker Chris Cornell has added another 10 dates to his North American spring trek, which coincides with the release of his eclectic new solo album, "Scream." The former Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman is now scheduled to play 28 clubs and theaters across the US and into Canada from late March through early May.

Tickets go on sale Friday (2/27) for Cornell's engagements in Denver; Seattle; Vancouver, British Columbia; Portland, OR; San Francisco; and Anaheim, CA. Saturday (2/28) on-sales are set for Sauget, IL; and North Kansas City, MO.

Fresh off his first US concert appearance in more than 15 years, Leonard Cohen has announced dates for a full-fledged North American spring tour.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer--whose New York City show last week was his first American concert since 1993--will kick off the trek at the beginning of April, and the 28-city outing stretches through early June.

Tickets go on sale Friday (2/27) in Grand Prairie, TX; and Columbia, MD. Monday (3/1) on-sales are set in San Diego; Oakland, CA; Vancouver, British Columbia; Seattle; Edmonton, Alberta; Calgary, Alberta; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; Winnipeg, Manitoba; Minneapolis; Chicago; Detroit; Hamilton, Ontario; Ottawa, Ontario; and Morrison, CO.

Melodic-hardcore rockers Rise Against are set to headline a North American summer tour with special guest Rancid. The jaunt kicks off in early June and is currently slated to canvas the US and Canada through the end of July, though more dates are expected.

Irish singing troupe Celtic Thunder hits North American shores next month for a spring tour that will blanket the US and Canada through early May. The vocal quintet continues to support its sophomore effort, "Celtic Thunder: Act Two," which hit stores last September.
