REO Speedwagon will cruise down the Chicago River Sept. 13 while performing on top of the "Star of Chicago" sightseeing boat. The band sets sail at 8 am., traveling from the south at Lake Street toward the Merchandise Mart, according to a media advisory. Near the Merchandise Mart, the boat will stop and drop anchor in the middle of the river while the band continues its show.

While in the Windy City, REO also performs at the House of Blues. The Sept. 13 show benefits Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
