Weezer Plans East Coast, Midwest Tour Swing
Weezer , which re-entered the public eye with appearances on the Vans Warped Tour and a short stint of West Coast dates earlier this summer, has announced a new series of East Coast and Midwest dates.
The band hasn’t released a new album since 1996’s “Pinkerton,” but it has been playing new material on tour this year. Despite the dearth of new recorded material, most of Weezer’s club dates have sold out quickly.
According to the band's website, the band is preparing a demo CD and shopping for a producer for its third album. The band hopes to enter the studio in October and to release a new album in early 2001.
