Rage Reschedules Two San Francisco Club Dates

Rage Against the Machine has rescheduled two San Francisco appearances that were pushed back following last months postponement of the bands tour with Beastie Boys. Rage is now scheduled to appear at the Fillmore on Aug. 21 and 22.

Ticket on-sale information hadnt been announced at press time. The bands performances will be recorded for a live album that Epic Records hopes to release in November, according to a label spokesperson.

Beastie Boys and Rage Against the Machine postponed their planned Rhyme and Reason tour last month after the Beastie Boys Mike D seriously injured his shoulder in a bicycle accident.

Widespread rumors that Rage will perform at an Aug. 14 protest in conjunction with the Democratic National Convention could not be confirmed.
