Jakob Dylan Goes Solo

Jakob Dylan will release his debut solo album, "Seeing Things," June 10. The album, produced by Rick Rubin, will be available at many Starbucks' locations in addition to traditional retail outlets, according to a press release.

Dylan previously recorded five albums with The Wallflowers . He recently collaborated with Dhani Harrison on the John Lennon song "Gimme Some Truth," for the Lennon tribute album, "Instant Karma: The Amnesty International Campaign to Save Darfur."

Dylan is slated to appear this summer at the Rothbury Festival in Michigan and the Bonnaroo Festival in Tennessee. Dylan's festival appearances are booked as Jakob Dylan and the Gold Mountain Rebels. Plans for a headlining tour will soon be announced.
