Medeski Martin & Wood [ tickets ] are setting up a summer music camp at the Full Moon Resort in the Catskills Mountains, NY, which will run from Aug. 5-10, according to a press release.

Camp MMW will offer musicians of varying levels and ages an opportunity to live and study with the band during intensive workshops and seminars that will encourage deep listening, musical exploration and improvisation. The band members, as well as special guests, will participate in all camp seminars and workshops. Evenings at the camp will feature performances and jam sessions, among other activities. Campers also will share most meals with Medeski, Martin and Wood.

Space at Camp MMW will be limited to 80 students, ages 16 and up. May 1 is the deadline to submit applications, which are available at the band's website.
