The Pussycat Dolls, Jessica Simpson Perform For Troops In Kuwait

The Pussycat Dolls , Jessica Simpson , Disturbed , Filter and DJ Z-Trip have signed on for "Operation MySpace," a Mar. 10 concert for U.S. Troops in Kuwait, which will be hosted by Carlos Mencia, according to a press release.

The social network site is presenting the concert in cooperation with the Department of Defense's America Supports You and Armed Forces Entertainment programs. A condensed 1-hour version of the show will be nationally broadcast April 12 on FX.

The concert also will be streamed live in high definition flash video on the official Operation MySpace page starting the day of the show at 11 a.m. PT. The profile is now serving as a communication hub where anyone in the MySpace community can post videos and messages of support for the men and women overseas.

In addition to hosting the one-time event, MySpace announced its official support of the America Supports You program as one of its ways to honor the dedication of members of the U.S. Armed Forces. America Supports You is an ongoing, nationwide program organized by the Department of Defense to showcase Americans' support for the men and women of the Armed Forces and their families.
