ABBA Drummer Ola Brunkert Found Dead In Spain
ABBA 's former drummer was found dead Mar. 16 after apparently falling through a window at his home, which is located on the island of Majorca in Spain, according to published reports. A neighbor of Ola Brunkert, 61, found the drummer's body in his garden, in a pool of blood with a cut to his neck. Local authorities said Brunkert's death was accidental.
Brunkert worked as a session drummer with ABBA as well as touring with the Swedish group. Though he retired to Majorca, he continued to perform with a jazz group.
