Foo Fighters [ tickets ], Jack Johnson [ tickets ], Kanye West [ tickets ], Nine Inch Nails [ tickets ] and Stone Temple Pilots [ tickets ] will headline the third "Virgin Mobile Festival" Aug. 9-10 at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, MD.

Virgin Group Founder and Chairman Sir Richard Branson, who recently announced the headliners at the 2008 CTIA Wireless convention in Las Vegas, said in a press release that this year's event will continue its course in coupling top-notch talent with his company's commitment to hosting an eco-friendly event that's light on carbon impact but heavy on the rock and roll.

More information about the festival, as well as the rest of the two-day lineup, is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
