Scott Weiland Headed To Jail For DUI
Recently departed Velvet Revolver--and recently reinstated Stone Temple Pilots --singer Scott Weiland yesterday (4/28) was sentenced to eight days in jail for a DUI conviction, according to reports.
Weiland, through his lawyer, reportedly pleaded no contest to the charge, which stemmed from his arrest last November following a minor traffic accident in Los Angeles.
In addition to the jail time, Weiland reportedly was also placed on four years' unsupervised probation, ordered to enter an 18-month alcohol program and fined about $1,600.
As previously reported, Weiland is scheduled to mount a 65-date reunion tour with his STP bandmates this summer.
