Melissa Etheridge , Kenny Loggins , Graham Nash and others are scheduled to perform at the Dream Foundation’s first annual fundraising event set to take place on Sept. 28 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in Southern California. The Foundation grants wishes to terminally ill adults.

Comedian Dennis Miller will host the show--dubbed Friends of the Dream Foundation--which will also include performances by Christopher Cross, Taylor Dayne and Jeff Bridges.

Singer-songwriter David Crosby and his wife Jan will be named the Friends of the Dream Foundation’s first honorees. Both have been involved with the foundation since its inception, according to a statement released by the organization.

The Dream Foundation assists adults ages 18 to 65 who have a dream that they would like to fulfill before their death, but lack the resources to do so on their own. The organization has granted more than 1,450 dreams to adults and their families, the statement said.

General admission tickets to Friends of the Dream Foundation can be purchased through Ticketmaster starting Aug. 26 for $45. Information on special corporate sponsorship packages can be obtained by calling (310) 201-5033. (LiveDaily is a publication of Tickmaster-CitySearch).
