Report: Gov't Mule, Ex-Allman Brothers Bassist Allen Woody Found Dead
Allen Woody , bassist in the Allman Brothers Band through most of the 90's and current member of Gov't Mule , was reportedly found dead Saturday morning (8/26) in a New York hotel.
Woody's death, first reported by the official Allman Brothers Band website, comes just days before Gov't Mule was to embark on a new tour.
No cause of death was immediately available.
