Britney Spears [ tickets ] was awarded overnight visits with her sons, Preston, 2 1/2, and Jayden, 1 1/2, at a June 24 closed-door hearing in Los Angeles, according to published reports.

Spears, who hasn't had her children spend the night in her home since January, reportedly appeared Tuesday (6/24) in a L.A. Superior Courtroom with her parenting coach at her side, spokesperson Allan Parachini confirmed. Parachini said Spears' demeanor before the court commissioner was "businesslike."

Spears and her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, face a custody trial in August, unless they can settle their case amicably out of court. Their next hearing is scheduled for July 15.
