LiveDaily Sessions: Wild Sweet Orange

Wild Sweet Orange , a Birmingham, AL-based rock outfit helmed by singer/songwriter/guitarist Preston Lovinggood, finds inspiration for songs in the SUV-riddled suburbs of America. Some, like "Land of No Return," point out the mindlessness and monotony of the 'burbs, while others ("Aretha's Gold") highlight the duality of young love found there.

The hard-working quartet, whose name was taken from a brand of herbal tea, enjoyed indie success with several blog mentions after the release of their 2006 EP, "The Whale." Now finishing up an early summer cross-country tour supporting Augustana, Wild Sweet Orange is gearing up for the July 29th release of their debut album, "We Have Cause to Be Uneasy."
