Elastica Shapes Up North American Tour
LONDON--Britpop group Elastica will tour the U.S. and Canada for the first time in five years, beginning in late September. The group will undertake its 11-date club venture in support of its latest album "The Menace," the follow-up to its self-titled 1995 debut.
The outing will commence in San Francisco on Sept. 20 and wrap up in Boston on Oct. 7. The announcement came after the group had to pull out of England’s Leeds Festival 2000 on Sunday (8/27) due to singer Justine Frischmann losing her voice.
"The Menace" was released in the U.K. in April and received only lukewarm reviews.
