Bob Dylan Releases New Bootleg

The 8th installment of Bob Dylan 's Bootleg Series will be released Oct. 7. The newest edition in the series, dubbed "Tell Tale Signs," will feature previously unreleased studio recordings and alternate versions that span from 1989 to 2006, according to a press release.

Previously unreleased songs on the album include "Red River Shore," "Dreamin' of You," and "Marchin' To The City" from the "Time Out Of Mind" sessions. The disc also includes "I Can't Escape From You," "Duncan & Brady," "Miss The Mississippi" and Dylan's first release of a Robert Johnson song, "32-20 Blues."

"Tell Tale Signs" also includes Dylan recordings created for the movie soundtracks of "Lucky You," "Gods & Generals" and "North County."

The two-disc set will include a booklet of rare photos, extensive liner notes by author Larry "Ratso" Sloman, and complete recording credits. A limited-edition, deluxe three-CD package will include all of the elements of the two-disc set plus a bonus disc of 12 additional rare and unreleased recordings. It also will include a hardcover book of artwork from Dylan singles that span his entire career. The three-CD package will be presented in a specially-designed hardcover slipcase.

"Tell Tale Signs" also will be released as a limited-edition 4-LP vinyl set and will include all the elements of the two-CD set.
