Bon Jovi to play free show for arena football champs
Bon Jovi will play a free concert to celebrate the Philadelphia Soul's Virgin Mobile ArenaBowl XXII championship. Details including time and place of the "Soul Celebration featuring Bon Jovi" are expected to be announced next week.
The free concert is part of a broader partnership between Virgin Mobile USA and the Philadelphia Soul that, when finalized, will run throughout the 2009 season.
The Philadelphia Soul arena football team drew more than 130,000 fans to its games this season. Following last season, the Soul were recognized with the Commissioner's Award as the Organization of the Year and were an honorable mention for the PRISM Award in the category of fan appreciation, according to a press release.
