Alicia Keys has plans to perform in select theaters across the US throughout September in continued support of her latest album "As I Am."
According to a press release, "As I Am" is the biggest debut for a female R&B artist in SoundScan history, moving more than 742,000 units during its first week out. The album includes tracks such as "Like You'll Never See Me Again," "Teenage Love Affair" and the double Grammy-winning song "No One" which she performed for the first time ever during her set at last year's "Live Earth" concert.
Speaking of good causes, it's worth noting that Keys' "As I Am" tour reportedly helped to raise $40,000 for one of the artist's affiliates, the Keep A Child Alive organization, which provides anti-viral medication for children with AIDS in Africa.
LiveDaily photographer Tim Mosenfelder attended Alicia Keys' show earlier this year (5/11) in Sacramento CA and took some photos of her performance.
