Dave Matthews Band postpones two shows

In the wake of the recent death of saxophonist and founding member LeRoi Moore, the Dave Matthews Band has postponed tonight's (8/25) planned show in West Sacramento, CA, and Wednesday's (8/27) gig in West Valley City, UT.

Though the band didn't specify a reason for the postponements, the group likely plans to attend memorial services for Moore, who died last week of injuries he suffered in a June ATV accident.

The postponed dates so far haven't been rescheduled, but more info will be released via the band's website "as soon as it becomes available," according to a posting on the site.

In other news, a fund has been created in honor of LeRoi Moore "in support of charities that reflect both his spirit and passion." Donations via check referencing the "Charlottesville Area Community Foundation for the LeRoi Moore Memorial Fund" may be mailed to:

Charlottesville Area Community Foundation
PO Box 1767
